A mermaid bracelet

I’m so sorry I haven’t had a way to post, I lost my internet for most of last week due to a fried modem and fun and games with Verizon. I have been working like a busy little bee in the studio on Anne Boleyn’s (she’s almost finished and I will post soon) Valentine and making some new jewelry.

Here’s a mermaid bracelet I just finished of freshwater pearls aventurine, turquoise, silver and crystal. It has a little silver moon charm to represent the pull of the tides. The image is framed in antique brass and is a miniature detail print from my painting “Water” which is from a series called the “Elements”. “People born under the astrological signs of Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces are thought to have dominant water personalities. Water personalities tend to be emotional, deep, nurturing, sympathetic, empathetic, imaginative and intuitive; however, they can also be sentimental, over-sensitive, escapistic and irrational.” Hmmm…this sounds vaguely like someone I know very well 😉

On the back is a tiny abstract painting on canvas board in acrylic.
