Sketch Book

I’ve finally started on the Sketchbook Project 2011. My theme is “Fill Me With Stories” and my plan is to illustrate “Folk Tales, Myth, Fairy Tales, Sagas & Fables”. Some familiar, some revisited and revised and some, just about the stories we tell each other.

The sketch book they provided this year had a plain recycled brown cardboard cover- I wanted it to look like very worn and old leather.

I’ll be posting the stories as I draw them, hopefully one a week.
